A rigid plastic sleeve, typically 3″×4″, used to protect trading cards from corner and edge damage during storage and shipping. Top loaders are inserted card-first, often after the card is placed in a thinner penny sleeve.

Standard top loaders accommodate ungraded cards. Larger sizes exist for thicker cards, vintage cardboard, and graded slabs. Always pair a top loader with a penny sleeve to prevent surface scratching.
