The PSA Population Report (commonly Pop Report) is PSA public census of every card it has graded, organized by issue, year, set, card number, and grade. The Pop Report is the foundational rarity metric for trading card collectors and is updated continuously as new submissions are graded. Critical context: Pop Report numbers reflect cards submitted to PSA, not total surviving population — a card may be more or less rare in absolute terms than the Pop Report suggests.

The PSA Population Report, often called the PSA Pop Report, is the publicly available database maintained by Professional Sports Authenticator that records every card the company has graded, broken down by card identity and grade tier. For each card, the report shows how many copies have been graded at each numerical grade and how many have received qualifiers or special designations.

Population data is one of the most important inputs to card valuation. A card with a population of fifty thousand at PSA 9 and three thousand at PSA 10 is priced very differently from a card with a population of one hundred at PSA 9 and one at PSA 10. The Pop Report also reveals trends — which cards are being submitted, which sets are being graded heavily, and which grade tiers are saturating. See our guide to reading the PSA Population Report for hands-on use of the data.
